I guess I can upload it now, after the pictures of the "Animals of the farthingwood"-contest already have been shown... right, Alopex? ^^°
This is a contest-picture, for a contest in a german "Animals of farthingwood"-forum.
Well... I guess this needs a bit of explanation.
It is a fanart-piece of a scene of Colin Dann's "Animals of Farthingwood" - series.
The animals of the "White deer - park" fear a strange cat-like creature that kills a lot of their friends and is a permanent danger for all animals in the park, so the "Animals of farthingwood" decide to do something and wander to the den of this cat.
The toad, heroic as it is, volunteers to sneak into the den of this giant cat to see if it is here or somewhere else.
Well, and this is the scene I drew. The toad, lonely and scared, crawling into the "den of the lion" after it volunteered heroically to do it.
Drawn with acrylics, pens and a bit Photoshop (the toad).
Well, I'm really curious to know how this contest will end and who the winner will be.
