Yeah, I kind of dislike models, so here's just a little fun-comicstrip
...

But seriously: our definition of beauty in these days is only a product of the computer and a good graphic-software. It's really sad.



EDIT: Oh, inspired by one of the most manipulative shows in the german TV EVER - "Germany's next topmodel"... and of course I blame this to my crazy and wonderfully funny sister. - My life would be very grey and lonely without you... :heart: :hug:

And yes I know that their anatomy looks kinda strange - But it is a comic-style, so I actually don't care. ;)

I don't like models too.
I mean, looking good on a photo doesn't mean you're a complete hot new model.
And that's what everyone's showing in magazines.
Just a photo of someone who looks pretty ok.
And there's more, it has to be perfect.. so
they photoshop it.

That's just not real beauty.

It's funny because my current sequential art professor used to be one of the guys who would go through and edit models in photoshop for those beauty magazines and whatnot. (he apparently doesn't anymore but he did for awhile) It was kinda funny when he was talking about it though, because apparently all those little changes are what the model their self is asking for, not the person who edits them up in photoshop, or the company taking the photos.

I have a friend who's just utterly beautiful, without editing, and she's become a model. :) The only thing they change about her photos in Photoshop are the colours. I think it's because she's beautiful by herself already. XD
